Watching the Trials on 12 July 2008 -  Trials start at 10.30am; 2pm and 7pm. Tickets to watch can be bought by post as shown on the ticket prices webpage or from Banana Travel, Market Place, Great Dunmow.

 

The Flitch Procession starts from outside The Saracen's Head, High Street, Dunmow at the following times: 10:00 am; 1:30 pm; 6:30 pm.  It then travels along Stortford Road to the marquee on Talberds Ley.

 

The Flitch Procession leaves the marquee at the following times: 11:45 am; 4:30 pm; 9:30 pm.  It then travels across Talberds Ley to Market Place.

Food and Drink is available from our many local pubs, restaurants and cafes near to the Talbard Leys trial site.

Entertainment and stalls on and around the trials site will include:

Austin 7 club;

Morgan club;

Morris Men;

Clog Dancers;

The Dunmow Majorettes;

St. Mary's Steel Band;

Dunmow Karate Club;

Punch and Judy show;

The Dunmow Arts Centre;

The Essex Guild of Craftsmen;

Various local produce sellers.

 

The Trials marquee is accessible to wheelchair users.
